Valipe Ramgopal Rao is an Indian academic currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He was previously the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He was the P.K.Kelkar Chair Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay before joining IIT Delhi as the Director. Rao has more than 480 publications in various journals, and over 50 patents in the areas of Electron devices and Nanoelectronics. Rao was the first elected chairman for the Indian Section of the American Nano Society. He is also the recipient of multiple prizes including the Swarnajayanti Fellowship, Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, Infosys Prize, Techno-Visionary award from the Indian Semiconductor Association in 2020, the IBM faculty award in 2007 and the IEEE EDS Education award in 2020 besides many others. He is a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc), National Academy of Sciences (NASI) and the Indian National Science Academy (INSA).

Dr. Michael Milligan is the Chief Executive Officer of ABET, USA, the global accreditor of over 4,500 college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology. Prior to joining ABET in 2009, Milligan was a systems director at the Aerospace Corporation, leading a team at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center developing the next generation environmental satellites for NOAA. Milligan served over 24 years as a career U.S. Air Force officer working in operations, engineering education, international research & development, technology acquisition. Milligan earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, his M.S.E. from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and his B.S. from Michigan State University — all in electrical engineering. He also earned an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Western New England College, is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado and Maryland, and a Certified Association Executive (CAE). He is also a Master Naturalist for the state of Maryland.

In these roles, he works with public sector agencies to develop and coordinate strategies for the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and GreenGov.SG. He also spearheads the Government’s partnership with stakeholders, including businesses, civil society partners and individuals, to advance our national sustainability agenda. He has served in the Science and Technology Policy and Plans Office, National Research Foundation, the Singapore Armed Forces, and on the boards of the Defence Science Technology Agency, Defence Science Organisation and IE Singapore.

Dr. Anthony Yee is the Executive Director of AHT Syngas Asia PLC, this company is the Asian Headquarters of AHT GmbH, a 150-year-old German company, specializing in medium size gas power stations. Dr. Yee is the Chair of the Board of Governors, MDIS Malaysia, and an Executive Council Member of MDIS, Singapore. He is also an academic, currently lecturing at Teesside University, Singapore Campus. Prior adjunct teaching and FYP supervision were at Ngee Ann and Singapore Polytechnic. Dr. Anthony Yee Started his career with Keppel Shipyard performing both onboard marine electrical systems installation and repairs, as well as maintaining onshore HV electrical systems. He also worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at MacDermott SEA Pte. Ltd, where he was in charge of offshore HV Generation and Distribution Systems. He later joined ABB as Project Division Manager, where he oversaw HV projects and equipment installation and repairs. Dr. Yee has served as Expert Witness in several Singapore High Court Cases. Dr. Yee is a Life Senior Member of the IEE, he served for 8+ years on the PES Committee and later as Chair of Membership at Singapore Section. His area of specialization is Power Systems and Electromagnetics. His other affiliations are Fellow Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology UK (FIMarEST), Fellow Institution of Engineering and Technology, formerly IEE UK (FIET), Fellow Institution of Science and Technology UK (FIScT), Fellow of The Royal Commonwealth Society UK. Dr. Yee served The Singapore Armed Forces as a Reservist Officer for 33 years. He commanded a reservist Combat Battalion and retired with the rank of Major. He is a recipient of The SAF Good Conduct Medal and The Reserve Medal with Bar.

Min Xie has been a chair professor of Chair Professor at the City Univ of Hong Kong since 2011. Prior to that, he was with the National Univ of Singapore for 20 years, where he joined as one of the first recipients of LKY research fellow. He received his undergraduate and postgraduate education in Sweden, and he first entered Univ of Science and Technology of China at the age of 14 with the highest score in the nationwide examination to the gifted program. He has carried out extensive research in quality, reliability, and industrial statistics, and published over 300 journal papers and 10 books. He has advised 60 Ph.D. students, now working in industry or academia in different continents. Prof Xie was elected fellow of IEEE in 2005 and was recently elected to the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Dr. Bharat Jain has total more than 4 decades of Professional Experience in Environment Management. He had worked with Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Rajasthan and Gujarat. He had designed and executed number of water supply and drainage schemes. He has vast experience of planning of Industrial Estate with necessary infrastructure including Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs). He was also involved in carrying out Environment Impact Assessment Study (EIA). A former Chief Engineer of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, at present he is working as a Member Secretary of Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, involved in promotion of Resource Efficiency & Cleaner Production in the industries. At present, he is working on retrofitting of existing Industrial Estates into Eco-Industrial Parks.
