About the 2023 GTSNZ

The 2023 IEEE GreenTech, Sustainability, & Net Zero Practices Symposium (2023 GTSNZ) is designated for reporting recent advancements, practices, challenges, and opportunities in the areas of green technology, sustainability, and Net Zero emissions. 2023 GTSNZ fosters the collaboration and knowledge sharing between government, industry, and academia to provide insights into their best practices and experiences addressing recent environmental challenges and contributing to the collective efforts in building a sustainable and Net Zero future.

The symposium provides a unique networking opportunity with leading experts, policymakers, industry professionals, administrators, practitioners, researchers, innovators and users, who will be shedding light on the latest cutting-edge researches and innovations addressing environmental challenges, the development and adoption of sustainable solutions, and the quest for the Net Zero vision articulated at the Conference Of the Parties (COP) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

 

2023 GTSNZ is open for Senior Management Personnel, Senior Policymakers & Administrators, Senior Consultants, Researchers, Senior Analysts,, Faculty Members, Practitioners, Students, and participants interested in the Net Zero Vision, the global sustainability agenda, and the green technologies.

 

The symposium consists of an appropriate mix of thought-provoking, powerful, pragmatic keynote addresses, plenary, and panel sessions predominantly from leading experts in various aspects of sustainability, green technologies and Net Zero vision. Several innovative & entrepreneurial articles, case studies, feasibility reports, and research papers will be presented in the 2023 GTSNZ Academic Track. Additionally, 2023 GTSNZ will include Site Visits to relevant Industries and Research Institutions.

About COP28 UAE:

COP28 UAE will be a milestone moment when the world will take stock of its progress on the Paris Agreement.

The first Global Stocktake (GST), will provide a comprehensive assessment of progress since adopting the Paris Agreement. This will help align efforts on climate action, including measures that need to be put in place to bridge the gaps in progress.

The COP28 UAE Presidency will work to ensure that the world responds to the Global Stocktake with a clear plan of action.

Call for Participation

The 2023 IEEE GreenTech, Sustainability, & Net Zero Practices Symposium (2023 GTSNZ) opens the call for academics to participate in its first edition by submitting articles/papers/reports/case studies including information about the rationale, technologies used, government, industry, and institutional collaborations on Sustainability, Green Technologies and NetZero Practices.
